Mula noong pagbubukas, ang Alpaca Finance ay sumabay sa buyback & burn bilang deflationary mechanism upang mapataas ang pang matagalang halaga ng ALPACA tokens. Ang bahagi ng kita ng plataporma na ginamit sa buyback & burn ay:
1. Liquidation Fees - 4% (out of 5%) ng lahat ng liquidation fees ay ginamit para sa buyback & burn ng ALPACA tokens para sa kasp ng 3rd party liquidation bots. Sa pagkakataong ang liquidation ay pinangunahan ng bot ng ALPACA, 5% nito ay mapupunta sa buyback & burn.
2. Reserve Pool Take Rate - 10% (out of 19%) ng borrowing interest fees ay ginagamit para sa buyback and burn ng ALPACA tokens.
