Adjust an AUSD Position

Persuant to AIP-25's resolution, AUSD has been sunsetted. All remaining AUSD positions were force-closed on October 17th. You can read more on AUSD sunsetting & AF1.0 Batch#1 Migration Plan article. Thus, this page is only a referenced information before it is sunsetted.

Next to your active AUSD positions, you can use the Adjust button to add collateral or borrow more AUSD. This step-by-step guide shows you how to do both.

  • Go to the Portfolio page and click on the AUSD sub-menu at the top

  • Connect to your Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask). Make sure your network is set to intended chain (i.e. BNB chain, Fantom)

  • Active positions are shown on the page. Click "Adjust" on the position you want to modify

To add collateral:

  • Specify whether you'd like to supply the base asset (e.g. BUSD) or ibToken (e.g. ibBUSD) as collateral

    • If you supply the base asset, Alpaca Finance will convert it into the ibToken for you

  • Enter the amount of collateral you would like to add

  • To apply the adjustments, click "Supply". You should get a pop-up notification in your MetaMask to accept the transaction

  • Wait for the transaction to be processed

  • Once the transaction has gone through, you'll see your updated AUSD position on the Portfolio page

To borrow more AUSD:

  • Note your current Safety Buffer level before adjusting the position

  • Check the Borrow More? box

  • Insert how much AUSD you would like to borrow

    • You can also click "Safe Max" to borrow the maximum amount of AUSD allowed (with relatively safe parameters)

  • Click "Borrow"

  • After clicking "Borrow", you should get a pop-up confirmation in your Web3 wallet to accept the transaction

  • Wait for the transaction to be processed

  • Once the transaction has gone through, you'll see your AUSD position on the Portfolio page
