Close/Partially Close an AUSD Position

Persuant to AIP-25's resolution, AUSD has been sunsetted. All remaining AUSD positions were force-closed on October 17th. You can read more on AUSD sunsetting & AF1.0 Batch#1 Migration Plan article. Thus, this page is only a referenced information before it is sunsetted.

To close or partially close an AUSD position, follow the steps below.

• Go to the Portfolio page and click on the AUSD sub-menu at the top

• Connect to your Web3 wallet (such as MetaMask). Make sure your network is set to intended chain (i.e. BNB chain, Fantom)

• Click "Close Position" on the position you want to close or partially close

To partially close a position:

• Select Partially Close Your Position in the top-right drop-down menu

• Specify the amount of AUSD you would like to repay

  • If you would like to withdraw collateral, check the Withdraw Collateral box and specify the amount of collateral you would like to withdraw

• To execute the transaction, click the green button which will say "Repay" if you are just repaying AUSD debt or "Repay & Withdraw" if you are repaying AUSD debt and withdrawing collateral

• Wait for the transaction to be processed

• Once the transaction has gone through, if you also chose to withdraw your collateral, you should receive your ibTokens back in your wallet

To close your entire position:

• Select Close Your Entire Position in the top-right drop-down menu

• Make sure to have enough AUSD balance to pay back your loan and successfully close your entire position

• If this is your first time closing a position, you must first click "Approve AUSD" and accept a confirmation in your Web3 wallet

• After the approval goes through, click "Repay & Withdraw" and accept the confirmation in your Web3 wallet

• Wait for the transaction to be processed

• Once the transaction has gone through, you should receive your ibTokens back in your wallet
